Orvis has a wide variety of very good fly rods including bamboo and very good reels to match. They sell a wide variety of quality accessories such as fly vests and fly lines, waders, sun glasses, great flies from a very broad fly shop, and clothes. Orvis offers fly fishing schools throughout the US in some exquisite fishing areas as well as many local metro areas. Their battenkill stuff is marvelous.

Orvis is also noted for the quality and variety of wingshooting equipment. The online site offers guide wingshooting trips. It is a pleasure just to read about their endorsed lodge programs and guides.

Orvis clothes are also top notch as is their luggage. Many of my fellow anglers use their luggage exclusively. Again, battenkill stuff is marvelous.
